Batman Is Coming

While cinema and DC Comics fans all over the world are preparing to welcome Joker in a new potential game-changer, games are changing too, though not so radically. Fortnite, one of the games that define the 2010s, suddenly introduces Batman in its two-week event. You can try your Batsuit and use other items.

These DC characters aren’t here just for the looks. Though the motivation is quite plain, being the 80th anniversary of one of the characterizing comic heroes, there is more than just looks. Batman can act as he does in comic books and movies, with his batmobile, mask, and tricky gadgets.

A Moveable Piece

Batman isn’t the only one to visit The Battle Royale Island from Gotham City. For players who prefer female identity, there is a similar set of the Catwoman appearance and accessories. The mask is even more expressive than that of Batman, and no wonder: Catwoman has always been among the brightest looking characters.

Gotham Experience Awaits

And there is more: a piece of real Gotham City, with its misty sky and grim skyscrapers, also appears on the island. It has its own dark charm as well as some gameplay specifics you better try. The event is on until October 6th.
